A popular gay nightclub known as Pulse in Orlando USA was attacked
by an armed man in the early hours of sunday, leaving atleast 50 people dead and about 53 more in hospital beds.
The man was later killed and identified as 29 year old America born Omar Mateen. His father however is from Afghanistan. When interrogated, his father said Omar was recently angry about seeing two men kissing in Miami.
The loner attacker was armed with an assault-type rifle and a shotgun, before he opened fire in the crowded gay nightclub. The horrific attack on the LGBT community has been reported to be the biggest mass shooting in the history of th US.
