This has been a regular scene on Akowonjo road whenever there is an heavy downpour. The roads are always been flooded due to the poor drainage system.
Movement are always been restricted during this period as vehicles owners wouldn't want to fall victim of vehiclesbreakdown, houses and shops along the road have been victims of property damage due to the flood. Residents of Akowonjo Egbeda , Lagos. Implore and plead with Government to look into the road or provide canoes to be used on such occasion.
