Liverpool, England, surrounded by 100 of their closest
friends and family members. Her bridesmaids included Jennifer Hudson,
Serena Williams, Lala Anthony and Kelly Rowland, but all of the guests gathered at a venue then were asked to hand over their cell phones beforehand to ensure that the ceremony was kept private before they were conveyed to the real venue.
Before the wedding, the pair was spotted
attending their rehearsal dinner at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool on Tuesday night.
The pair announced their engagement in March when the Seattle Seahawks
quarterback posted an Instagram video in which his new fiancee showed off a large diamond engagement ring as he exclaimed, “She said yes!” Ciara also posted a photo
of Wilson kissing her engagement ring, and captioned it,“I Feel Complete.”
They began dating in April 2015, but the NFL player once revealed that they were waiting until marriage to have sex, citing his religious beliefs as the reason to stay celibate.
This marks the first marriage for Ciara and second for Wilson. The singer was previously engaged to rapper Future, with whom she shares a two-year-old son, while
the football player was married to high school sweetheart Ashton Meem from 2012 to 2014.
