Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull faces opposition leader Bill Shorten in Australia Election





Australia's goes to polls tomorrow to elect new government. The voting is said to start early morning on 2nd July. The main contest is between current Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and Opposition leader Bill Shorten to become the country's fifth Prime Minister .

Over 15 million citizens are expected exercise their voting right, when the election takes place tomorrow. The polls will elect all 226 members including 150 members for the lower house of the 45th parliament after nine-weeks of official campaign period, following the double dissolution announced by Prime Minister Turnbull in April this year.

Mr Turnbull begins the campaign
with a two-point rise as the better
prime minister, leading Mr Shorten
by 49 per cent to 27 per cent.
Meanwhile, the latest Fairfax-Ipsos
poll shows that the government is on
level pegging with the opposition as
they go into campaign mode for a
July 2 election.
